Zerona

How Zerona ® Works
The Zerona ® uses a low-level laser to emulsify the subcutaneous fat. The laser light causes a chemical change in the fat cells that causes them to become leaky. The emulsified fat escapes from the fat cells through these pores, and is absorbed by the lymphatic system. As more and more fat cells become smaller, there is measurable reduction in the arms, belly, hips and thighs.
What to Expect
Treatment with the Zerona ® is painless, easy and relaxing. The laser is positioned in the correct position to scan the desired area. There is no heat or other sensation from the laser. Treatment sessions are 40 minutes long, typically 20 minutes on each side of the body. Normal activity can be resumed immediately after treatment. Dr. McCoy recommends that you are well hydrated, make healthy eating choices, include mild to moderate exercise, and you abstain from alcohol and caffeine.
