Threadlift & PDO Threadlift

By using surgical sutures or Contour Threads, Dr. McCoy can provide a subtle, natural lift. This is ideal for a patient that wants to avoid a more invasive full surgery and doesn’t have a significant amount of loose skin. Dr. McCoy has performed over 150 threadlifts, and strongly recommends a consultation to determine if you are a good candidate.

Threadlift Benefits

  • Only 5 to 7 days downtime
  • Minimally-invasive
  • No scalpel or cutting
  • Done in under an hour
  • Can Dissolve Naturally

How Threadlift Works

The procedure requires only local anesthetic. Patients are very comfortable and there is minimal discomfort. The threads are inserted through tiny injection sites that typically don’t even require stitches and are totally hidden by the hairline. There is no scarring around the ear or other obvious signs of treatment. The threads move the deep tissue of the area to be lifted, in the direction of the insertion point. After “lifting” the area, the micro-trauma of the movement heals like any wound, maintaining the lift for years.

What to Expect

The treatment takes 60 minutes. Initially after the procedure, the treated area will appear too tight. This is normal, since the tissue relaxes over the first couple weeks post treatment. Patients should expect 5 to 7 days of downtime and must restrict activity during this time-period. There is swelling and minimal bruising. Although there are mixed opinions on the threadlift procedure, Dr. McCoy gets beautiful natural results that are very long lasting. The key is patient selection and the doctor’s technique. Dr. McCoy prides himself as one of the most skilled physicians performing the threadlift at Contour Medical in Gilbert, Arizona.

Dissolving Threadlift (PDO)

Here at Contour Medical, we now offer dissolving threadlift – also known as PDO. This revolutionary procedure restores natural facial balance, softens the signs of aging, and can help improve the appearance of a sagging neck, sagging cheeks, and sagging jowls! All of this is done using a combination of threads and cosmetic injectables, and can be done with a minimum amount of non-invasive surgery. The procedure leaves no scarring, and local anesthetic is all that’s needed.

More information about PDO
