Leg veins, often referred to as spider or reticular veins, are small blue-red veins visible on the skin. Located primarily on the ankles, feet, and legs, these veins are often inherited from the parents and appear on over 70% of females and 40% of males. Unfortunately, if left untreated, leg spider veins can spread and grow, particularly if exacerbated by long periods of time standing. This can cause them to become more unsightly with time, particularly if not corrected.
Leg veins can be treated, however, with Sclerotherapy, photo rejuvenation, and other vein treatments offered here.
