What is Halo Resurfacing?
The Halo is a game-changer in laser resurfacing. Halo is the only laser that combines ablative (surface) and non-ablative (below surface) technology during treatment. This combination reduces pore size, improves texture and fine lines, and reduces sun damage and unwanted pigmentation.
The Benefits of Halo Resurfacing
The skin glows after Halo — with minimal to no downtime or discomfort. After your treatment, you can expect to see smaller pores, fine lines, and sun damage, with an overall more youthful look. Plus, active treatment time is usually only 15 minutes. The Halo at Contour Medical is the most cutting-edge alternative to aggressive resurfacing with minimal discomfort and downtime.

What to Expect From Treatment
The sensation during treatment is a warm, “static” feeling that patients describe as annoying but not painful. We apply a topical numbing agent before treatment to minimize sensation, and the active treatment time is under 15 minutes. The protocol is typically one or two treatments, with treatments months apart. There may be slight redness and minimal swelling after the treatment — most patients look like they got a bit too much sun post-treatment. You know you are in good hands with Contour Medical as one of the first clinics in the entire country to use the Halo. Dr. McCoy has been a national trainer and speaker for the Halo procedure.
